Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time, dayshift position to provide medical nutrition therapy to patients, employees, and the community. This role supports the hospital’s mission and values while ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, CDR registration or eligibility within six months, Indiana RD certification within six months, and one year of RD experience preferred. EOE.

Qualifications

• CDR registration or registry eligibility within six months of date of hire.
• Indiana Dietitian current certification (CDR) within six months.
• One year working as a Registered Dietitian preferred.

This position is responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy to patients, employees, and the community in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health Floyd. This position ensures patient satisfaction, quality care, regulatory compliance, and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree at a recognized accredited University or College approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) or the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)
• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or registry eligible (must receive within six (6) months of date of hire)
• Certified Dietitian in the state of Indiana (must receive within six (6) months of date of hire)
• One year working as a Registered Dietitian preferred
