Job summary

Delfina Medical Group is seeking a Registered Dietitian to serve as a Perinatal Nutritional Health Expert. This role delivers 1:1 and group nutrition therapy for pregnant and postpartum patients via telemedicine.

Applicants should hold an RD/RDN credential with a bachelor’s degree, be licensed to practice in Nevada, and have 2+ years of pregnancy-nutrition experience, including gestational diabetes. Remote, hourly contract with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• RD or RDN credential with at least a bachelor’s degree
• Licensed to practice in Nevada is a requirement
• Active registration in Nevada Medicaid is a plus
• Fluency in English required; Spanish fluency preferred
• 2+ years of experience in pregnancy nutrition care including gestational diabetes
• Experience in delivering virtual patient care
• Available for phone and video consultations intermittently with Delfina Medical Group

• Serve as the Nutritional Health Care Provider for Delfina Medical Group during pregnancy and postpartum
• Deliver 1:1 and group nutrition therapy sessions for pregnant and postpartum patients
• Create protocols and safety measures for a telemedicine-based nutritional health support system

Objective: The Registered Dietitian will serve as Perinatal Nutritional Health Expert in an ongoing fashion.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Nutritional Health Care Provider for Delfina Medical Group in pregnancy and postpartum.
• Provide 1:1 and group therapy visits for pregnant and postpartum patients.
• Create protocols and safety measures around a telemedicine based nutritional health support system for pregnant and postpartum patients.

Qualifications:

• Education: Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), earned at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed to practice in Nevada is a requirement
  • Active registration in Nevada Medicaid system is a plus
• Fluency in English is a requirement, additional fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
• 2+ years of experience providing patient care in pregnancy related nutrition including management of Gestational Diabetes, Type I and Type II Diabetes
• Previous work providing virtual patient care
• Available for phone and video meetings on an intermittent basis with the Delfina Medical Group

Compensation: $40-50 USD per hour

The compensation range for this contract position represents a wide variety of factors, including location, skills, experience, education, and training. Candidates who meet most of the qualifications above should expect to earn near the middle of the posted compensation range.

Time commitment: 2-10 hours per week initial commitment with additional ongoing work on an intermittent basis. Hourly contracted pay rate for 100% virtual work with flexible hours.
