Job summary

District Health Department #10 in Grayling, MI seeks a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to lead advanced nutrition education and counseling within Maternal Child Health programs. You will develop care plans, staff WIC clinics, and collaborate with healthcare providers to support breastfeeding and healthy outcomes.

Responsibilities include nutrition assessment, client-centered counseling, documentation in electronic health records, and coordination with community partners to promote health

Qualifications

• Registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND); RDN-Eligible candidates will be considered.
• Experience in clinical and/or community health and nutrition preferred.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced dietary and nutrition counseling and develop nutrition plans.
• Staff WIC clinics, perform health and nutrition screenings and assessments.
• Document diet plans in electronic health record with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provide breastfeeding support and referrals.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and community partners to improve outcomes.
