Job summary

AltaMed is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) for the PACE Site to conduct nutrition assessments and provide medical nutrition therapy. This role includes menu planning for compliance with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and conducting kitchen audits.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) status required.
• California Food Handler or Food Protection Manager Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year professional work experience in clinical nutrition preferred.
• Must work with the frail elderly, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and follow-ups for participants.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and dietary counseling.
• Plan menus for Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) compliance.
• Perform kitchen audits and ensure nutrition care practices.
