Job summary

Elior Living is seeking an experienced registered dietitian for a healthcare team. You will identify and assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve quality of life aligned with patient goals.

Responsibilities include educating staff and residents, adhering to nutrition standards, collaborating across departments, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. Onsite position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years in accordance with the CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
