Job summary

Regency Hospital - Macon is seeking a Registered Dietitian in Macon, GA for a full-time position. The role focuses on providing comprehensive medical nutrition therapy and collaborating with the care team to implement nutrition plans.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a nutrition-related field, current registration with the Commission on Dietetics Registration, and state licensure as applicable. A minimum of one year in a clinical setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with major studies in Food and Nutrition related field.
• Current state licensure/certification, if required by state.
• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
• One (1) year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nutritional care to patients by developing, implementing and monitoring Medical Nutrition Therapies.
• Collaborate with medical staff, patients, families and the food service department to implement the nutrition care plans.
• Perform nutritional assessments and re-assessments, set goals, and monitor patient progress.
• Develop and monitor enteral and/or parenteral nutrition support regimens.
• Work with Speech Therapy to progress textured modified diets for safety and intake optimization.
• Ensure nutrition orders align with the facility's formulary and diet manual.
