Job summary

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian to join our team. This position offers a flexible, hybrid schedule with 16 hours per week, half at telehealth and one onsite visit weekly.

The RD will perform comprehensive nutritional assessments, develop care plans, provide counseling, and coordinate with physicians, nurses and therapists. Requires RD, CDR registration, and state licensure where required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state).
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to develop and monitor improvement plans.
• Proficiency in providing general nutrition interventions.
• Familiarity with state survey processes and nutrition care regulations.
• Competency in electronic charting systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter, with more frequent reviews as needed for high-risk residents.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling as needed
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, including CMS and DOH.
• Monitor residents’ weight changes weekly and/or monthly to identify nutrition or hydration status changes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services and resident outcomes.
• Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits and document findings with corrective actions.
• Review and approve menu on a semi-annual basis to meet USDA guidelines.
• Perform other tasks within scope of practice.

Clinical Registered Dietitian Position - Part-time/Hybrid

Overview: RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is excited to offer an opportunity for a Clinical Registered Dietitian to join our team. This role allows flexibility and a balanced blend of in-person and remote work, ensuring our patients receive the best care while our team enjoys a work-life harmony.

Schedule: 16 hours per week, 50% completed remotely via telehealth

Flexibility: Choose your days and hours. 1 short onsite visits per week, the rest of the hours can be completed remotely.

Compensation: $30.00-$36.00 per hour, based on experience Travel Reimbursement: Paid at the same hourly rate for time traveling to and from the facility.
Mileage Reimbursement offered and company rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter, with more frequent reviews as needed for high-risk residents.

• Review and approve menu on a semi-annual basis to ensure it meets USDA guidelines
  
• Perform other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice as needed.
  

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
  
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
