Job summary

Medix is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join a collaborative healthcare team across inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation settings in Texas. New graduates are welcome; training is available to support growth.

You will provide individualized nutrition care, support multiple patient populations, and participate in rehab programs. Monday–Friday daytime hours with weekend rotation approximately once per month.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credential required.
• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics/Nutrition or related field.
• Healthcare/clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient education skills.

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join a collaborative healthcare team. This is a diverse clinical role supporting multiple patient populations and specialties across inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nutrition care and education for patients.
• Support both inpatient and outpatient nutrition needs.
• Work with a variety of specialties and patient populations.
• Participate in rehabilitation and specialty programs.
• Provide individual and group nutrition education.
• Develop and monitor nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition support and therapeutic diet recommendations as appropriate.
• Assist with discharge planning, quality improvement, and patient education.
• Provide coverage for team members as needed.

Requirements

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through CDR.
• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• Healthcare/clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient education skills.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, daytime hours with an approximate 7:30–8:00 AM start.
• 8-hour shifts.
• Weekend rotation approximately once per month.

Ideal Candidate

A flexible, compassionate, and team-oriented RD who enjoys working with diverse patients and taking on a variety of clinical responsibilities. Hospital experience is a plus, but new graduates with the required credentials are encouraged to apply.
