Job summary

Medix in the United States is hiring Registered Dietitians (W2) to provide virtual Medical Nutrition Therapy in a structured, high-volume weight loss program. This fully remote, flexible role has strong patient demand and high onboarding training.

You will conduct 30-minute virtual nutrition consults, support patients with medical weight loss and behavior change, work with NPs and physicians, and set goals with weekly follow-ups.

Job description

We are hiring Registered Dietitians (W2) to provide virtual Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) in a structured, high-volume medical weight loss program. This is a fully remote, flexible role with consistent patient demand and strong booking rates (95%+ for active schedules).

What You’ll Do

• Provide 30-minute virtual nutrition consults
• Support patients in medical weight loss + behavior change
• Work alongside NPs and Physicians prescribing weight loss medications
• Set goals and provide ongoing coaching (initial 5 weekly sessions per patient)
• Transition patients to health coaching after initial phase
• Use a digital app for tracking food, weight, and messaging
• Light documentation and patient messaging between visits

Schedule

• 10–20 hours/week (flexible)
• Choose your schedule (within):
• 8 AM – 8 PM (Mon–Fri)
• 8 AM – 12 PM (Sat)

Compensation (W2)

• Hourly pay (fee-for-service model)
• Paid for:
• Visits
• Charting time
• Messaging
• Internal meetings
• Paid onboarding + training

Training

• Fully remote, self-paced (~15 hours)
• Paid training (up to 20 hours)
• Includes platform + workflow setup with clinical lead

Requirements

• Strong MNT and behavior change counseling skills
• Able to work independently in structured workflows

Nice to Have

• Weight management or diabetes experience
• CDCES or obesity certification
