Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian for our Leesport healthcare team. You will assess patients/residents, initiate nutrition interventions, and work to improve quality of life in line with residents’ goals.

Responsibilities include providing nutrition education to staff and patients, adhering to practice standards and regulatory requirements, collaborating with departments, and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, in accordance with the CDR.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards related to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

The Role At a Glance

We are looking to add an experienced registered dietitian to our healthcare team in Leesport. As a registered dietitian, you will have the opportunity to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient’s/resident’s goals.

Must-haves
