Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition services at a long-term care facility. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with flexible options and a focus on improving resident experiences and outcomes.

The RD will assess nutrition needs, develop care plans, provide education to residents and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while ensuring regulatory compliance. Multi-site coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• State licensure in good standing in the practice state.
• Knowledge of CMS/state/federal nutrition regulations preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve care.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance as required.
• Driver's license for multi-site RD positions.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents/patients' nutrition needs and document plans in EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure CMS, state, and federal regulation compliance.
• Provide coverage across multiple buildings as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and develop and document the plan within the electronic medical record.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, lab results, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine a plan of care that improves residents'/patients’ overall health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, and as desired.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. **
• Hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
• Knowledge of the state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred, but not required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• If multi-site registered dietitian, must have valid Driver's License
• RD-Eligible and provisional state licensure accepted in certain locations
