The King David Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. You will perform nutritional assessments, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with physicians, nursing, and other professionals to optimize residents' health.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in nutrition, RD or registry-eligible, knowledge of regulatory dietary requirements for SNFs, and COVID-19 vaccination.

King David Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Registered Dietitian tojoin the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY!

Registered Dietitian Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and developindividualized care plans for residents
• Monitor and document residents’ nutritionalstatus, progress, and care plan updates
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, andinterdisciplinary team members on dietary interventions
• Provide nutrition counseling and education toresidents to support healthy eating habits
• Ensure compliance with dietary guidelines,safety, infection control, and Kosher regulations
• Attend and contribute to interdisciplinary careplan meetings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation inresident medical records
• Stay current with industry standards throughcontinuing education and in-service training
• Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold allresident rights
• Perform other job-related duties as needed anddirected

Registered Dietitian Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition from anaccredited college or university
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or registry-eligiblewith the American Dietetic Association (must pass exam within requiredtimeframe)
• Knowledge of regulatory dietary requirements forskilled nursing facilities
• COVID-19 vaccination

Preferred

• Experience with Kosher dietary practices
