Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to oversee clinical nutrition services at a long-term care facility. You will assess residents, develop and document care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote health and well-being.

The role offers Monday–Friday schedules with flexible options, hands-on training, and opportunities for professional development. RD credentials and state licensure are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
• Knowledge of the state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, families, staff, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state/local/customers.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document the plan within the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, labs, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents'/patients’ health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, and as desired.
• All other duties as assigned.

• RD-Eligible and provisional state licensure accepted in certain locations
