Job summary

The role includes monitoring quality improvement in Dietary Services and helping develop patient care plans related to nutrition, with a Master’s degree preferred and a Bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition or dietetics from an accredited college or university is required.
• Master's degree in clinical nutrition or dietetics is preferred.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY: REGISTERED DIETITIAN - PART TIME

Fairfax Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Part time Registered Dietitian. The Registered Dietitian plans modified diets as requested by the attending physician/licensed practitioner, provides nutritional assessments for patients as needed, and counsels patients and their families on dietary plans, food selections, preparation and nutritional principles. Monitors the performance improvement plans of the Dietary Services department and provides input in the development and implementation of patient care plans in relation to nutritional needs.
