Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian to provide Nutrition Care Process (NCP) using ADIME in patient care. The RD works independently and contributes to professional development and performance improvement activities.

Requirements include Licensed Dietician in KS and MO, Registered Dietitian (CDR) status, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics. On-site duties with some weekends and holiday rotation are expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dietician (KS) and MO licenses required.
• Registered Dietitian Credential (CDR) required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Use Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME) for assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation.
• Collaborate with clinical nutrition staff and students; participate in performance improvement.
• Promote department improvements and standards of practice.

Job Description

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City is looking for a full time Registered Dietitian. This person is accountable for using Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME-assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation). Within the organizational structure of clinical nutrition, the RD functions independently and is a resource contributing to the professional development of clinical staff and /or students at the patient care level. They demonstrate initiative to promote change in the department, recognizing opportunities for improvement. They will also participate in performance improvement activities. The RD demonstrates competency in the Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional of Performance and they meet requirements for CAP Level II requirements.

The Shifts:

• On Site

• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible)

• Occasional Weekends (every 5th/6th weekend)

• Holiday Rotation
