Job summary

American Medical Associates seeks a Registered Dietitian to oversee clinical nutrition care in a nursing home setting near New Haven, CT.

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian

Located near New Haven, CT

Salary: Up To $76K Per Year - **based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities of the Registered Dietitian:

• Direct, supervise and coordinate all the functions and activities and related to clinical nutritional care.
• Develop, or review and revise, and implement policies and procedures to assure compliance with JCAHO standards, and federal and state regulations, laws, and guidelines.
• Develop the monthly Performance Improvement Clinical Nutrition Report.
• Develop and implement plans to facilitate the provision of high quality and appropriate nutrition care to residents.
• Participate or lead interdisciplinary teams, committees, and FS mangers meetings.

Requirements of the Registered Dietitian:

• Must be a Registered Dietitian/ Registered Dietitian Eligible
• Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
• Must have nursing home experience
• Exceptional interpersonal & leadership skills
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal guidelines
• Computer literacy and proficiency with EMR software and computer-based menu systems
