Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition services in a long-term care facility. The role offers Monday–Friday schedules with flexibility and a focus on improving resident health and dining experiences.

Requirements include RD credential, state license in good standing, and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. The position may require coverage across multiple buildings and adherence to CMS/state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with current credentialing by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• State license in good standing to practice dietetics.
• RD-Eligible and provisional licensure accepted in select locations; cross-site responsibilities possible.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' clinical nutrition needs and document plans in the electronic medical record.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical data and weight trends.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' health outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage across multiple buildings as needed.

Pay Rate

USD $35.00 - USD $45.00 /Hr.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and develop and document the plan within the electronic medical record.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, lab results, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine a plan of care that improves residents'/patients’ overall health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, and as desired.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. **
• Hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
• Knowledge of the state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred, but not required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• If multi-site registered dietitian, must have valid Driver's License
• RD-Eligible and provisional state licensure accepted in certain locations

Additional Pay Information

Pay wage will vary based on objective factors, including location, years of experience, staffing needs, and other business reasons.
