Job summary

Allaire Rehab & Nursing in Freehold, NJ is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. You will design and implement personalized nutrition plans that promote health and well-being for our 174-bed center's residents.

You will work closely with our medical and dietary teams to tailor meals to each resident’s needs, preferences, and medical conditions, ensuring nourishment and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Dietetics or related field from an accredited institution.
• CDR registration or eligibility is required.
• Minimum 1+ years of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments to identify individualized dietary needs.
• Design and implement personalized meal plans meeting residents' nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop nutrition programs and improve resident well-being.
• Monitor effectiveness of nutrition plans and adjust as needed.

Our 174-bed center is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and therapy to young individuals with neurological impairment.

About the Role

As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary healthcare team, responsible for designing and implementing personalized nutrition plans that promote optimal health and well-being for our residents. You will work closely with our healthcare team to develop and implement meal plans that meet the unique needs of each resident, ensuring that they receive the nourishment they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough nutritional assessments of residents to identify individualized dietary needs
• Design and implement personalized meal plans that meet the resident's unique nutritional requirements
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement nutrition programs that promote optimal health and well-being
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition plans and make adjustments as needed
• Educate residents, their families, and healthcare staff on proper nutrition and meal planning
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident progress and develop comprehensive care plans

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Dietetics or related field from an accredited institution
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong patient-centered care skills and ability to work with diverse populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
