Pride Health is seeking a qualified Registered Dietitian to join a multidisciplinary hospital team in Elizabethtown, KY. The RD will provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and support individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other health professionals.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and monitoring nutrition care plans, providing counseling, and documenting clinical findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• Master's degree required for those graduating after January 2024 per ACEND/AND.
• Active Licensed Dietitian credential in state of practice (or eligible).
• Current CDR registration or registry-eligible.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• No prior professional experience required.
• Strong clinical judgment and medical nutrition therapy skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational skills with accurate, timely documentation.

• Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy for acute and chronic conditions.
• Monitor patient tolerance and response to therapeutic diets.

• Maintain accurate nutrition assessments, documentation, and logs.
• Collaborate with Nutrition team on menus, supplements, and enteral nutrition.
• Attend weekly RD meetings and participate in professional development.

Pride Health is seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Dietitian to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team at Elizabethtown, KY . The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients in a hospital setting, support individualized nutrition care plans, and collaborate with physicians, nursing, pharmacy, social work, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients using the standardized Nutrition Care Process and identify those requiring Medical Nutrition Therapy.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Monitor and evaluate patient tolerance and response to therapeutic diets.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate and timely nutrition assessments, clinical documentation, reports, and logs.
• Recommend, prescribe, write, and/or approve orders for therapeutic diets, dietary supplements, nutritional supplements, and enteral nutrition products, as permitted by facility policy.
• Follow infection-control, patient safety, HIPAA, confidentiality, and patient-rights policies.
• Collaborate with the System Clinical Nutrition team regarding nutrition care manuals, patient menus, nutritional supplements, and enteral nutrition products.
• Attend weekly Registered Dietitian meetings and participate in professional development activities.
• Patient Population: Hospital patients requiring Medical Nutrition Therapy, including patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Dietetics or a related field required for individuals who graduated after January 2024, in accordance with applicable ACEND/AND requirements.
• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or registry eligible.
• Active Licensed Dietitian credential in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• No prior professional experience required.
• Strong clinical judgment and medical nutrition therapy skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete documentation accurately and within required timeframes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
• Experience with therapeutic diets and nutrition support.
• Familiarity with enteral nutrition and nutritional supplementation.
• Experience providing nutrition education and counseling to patients and caregivers.

• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Experience: No experience required; 1+ year preferred
• Certification: BLS
• Licensure: Licensed Dietitian in state of practice
• Pay Range: 45.00-50.00 Per hour

Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, healthcare credentials, and applicable facility requirements.
