Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian in Buckeye Lake, OH. The role focuses on nutrition counseling, care planning, and education for a diverse patient population. • Experience teaching and counseling nutrition therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition counseling and develop care plans for diverse populations.
• Assess nutritional needs and complete care plans for patients.
• Screen patients for nutritional risk and document findings.
• Provide diet and food-drug interaction instructions.
• Attend care conferences to address nutritional needs.
• Document nutritional needs of high-risk patients promptly, including holidays and weekends.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in mandatory in-service meetings (e.g., TB testing, safety, HIPAA).

What they’re looking for:

• Registered Dietician, licensed in the state of Ohio.
• Prior clinical experience required. Knowledge of food preparation, food safety and sanitation practices.
• Prior experience teaching and counseling nutrition therapy required.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills with ability to explain moderately detailed information to a diverse population.
• Able to accurately take and record measurements and readings.

Hours and compensation potential:

• The position is full time(.8)
• The range starts at $29hr and goes up with experience.

What you’ll be doing:

• Responsible for nutrition counseling, nutritional care plans, nutritional assessment, and nutrition education programs for a diverse population.
• Assess nutritional needs of patients and complete nutritional plans of cares for patients.
• Screen and assess patients for nutritional risk.
• Complete diet and food drug interaction instructions.
• Attend Care Conferences to address patient’s nutritional needs.
• Document nutritional needs of high-risk patients in a timely manner including holidays and weekends.
• Maintains privacy and confidentiality at all times.
