Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition services at a long-term care facility in New Mexico. You will assess residents, develop care plans, provide nutrition education, and collaborate with the care team to improve health outcomes.

This role offers Mon-Fri schedules with flexibility, pay range $38-$45/hour, and benefits including telemedicine, prescription discounts, EAP, daily pay with EarnedIt, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• State license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of the state survey process and nutrition regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
• RD-Eligible or provisional licensure accepted in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document the plan in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical data.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents’ health outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and develop and document the plan within the electronic medical record.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, lab results, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine a plan of care that improves residents'/patients’ overall health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, and as desired.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. **
• Hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
• Knowledge of the state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred, but not required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• If multi-site registered dietitian, must have valid Driver's License
• RD-Eligible and provisional state licensure accepted in certain locations
