Job summary

ERC Pathlight is seeking Clinical Dietitians to provide medical nutrition therapy for patients recovering from eating disorders, educating patients and families on meal plans and nutritional needs. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and participate in team rounds as the nutrition expert.

We welcome candidates with a strong foundation in dietetics, licensure, and RD/RDN credentials, with opportunities across entry to senior levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Valid US driver license required.
• Current RD/RDN credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration; national RD certification preferred.
• Current state dietitian/nutritionist license as required by state law.
• 0–2 years of RD experience for entry level.
• 2+ years of RD experience for II level; 2 years with eating disorders; RD required.
• 5+ years of RD experience for III level; CEDRD/CDE/CSSD/CNSC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients with eating disorders and assesses nutritional status.
• Offers individualized nutrition counseling for patients and/or families to meet goals.
• Documents interventions, sessions, and meal plans.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care teams and attends meetings as nutrition expert.
• Leads experiential groups and supports meal and snack planning as applicable.

Whatyou’llbe doing:

The Clinical Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy to patients who are recovering from an eating disorder, including educating patients and families on meal plans and nutritional needs.

Essential duties andresponsibilities:

• Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients with eating disorders by assessing nutritional status, establishing a meal plan necessary to improve nutritional status and evaluating patient's response to the plan
• Provides individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients and/or families to establish and achieve nutritional goals
• Completes documentation of interventions, individual and family sessions and meal plans
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate treatment plans. Attends team meetings and team rounds to serve as the nutrition expert resource
• Facilitates experiential groups, which may include restaurant outings, food preparation and cooking groups (as applicable), as well as assists in providing meal and snack support and supervision

Clinical Dietitian I musthaves:

• Bachelor’s degree (Required), Graduate degree (Preferred)
• A valid US driver license (Required)
• Current RD/RDN credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration Certification/Registration required in all states that offer it. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred (Required)
• Current state dietitian/nutritionist license, as required by state law (Required)
• 0-2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian(Required)

Clinical Dietitian II musthaves:

• Bachelor’s degree (Required), Graduate degree (Preferred)
• A valid US driver license (Required)
• Current RD/RDN credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration Certification/Registration required in all states that offer it. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred (Required)
• Current state dietitian/nutritionist license, as required by state law (Required)
• 2 or more years of experience as an RD, with a minimum of 2 years working with eating disorders. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD)(Required)

Sr.Clinical Dietitian III must haves:

• Bachelor’s degree (Required), Graduate degree in nutrition,dieteticsor related field (Preferred)
• A valid US driver license (Required)
• Current RD/RDN credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration Certification/Registration required in all states that offer it. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred (Required)
• Current state dietitian/nutritionist license, as required by state law (Required)
• 5 or more years of experience as an RD working with eating disorders. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD)(Required)
• CEDRD, CDE, CSSD, or CNSC (Preferred)

The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.

Maryland Pay Range

$65,000 — $100,000 USD
