Join our team as a Registered Dietician at Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS). We offer PRN, part-time, and full-time positions with excellent benefits and a supportive work environment.

About the Role:

The Registered Dietician assesses the nutritional status of Senior Community Care participants, plans and implements nutrition interventions, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to meet participants' nutritional needs. Responsibilities include nutritional assessment, education, meal coordination, and supervision of dietary staff.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in food and nutrition or dietetics from an accredited college
  • At least one year of experience with a frail or elderly population
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license and transportation
  • Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations
Essential Functions:
  • Provide evidence-based nutrition care and education
  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and document activities accurately
  • Monitor participant health indicators and recommend interventions
