Job summary

Hillside Health and Rehabilitation in Florida is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide individualized nutrition care in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will assess residents, develop and monitor nutrition care plans, and educate residents, families, and staff within a collaborative healthcare team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, and resident-centered care in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Dietitian in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
• Experience in long-term care or SNF preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Resident-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the nutritional needs of residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Create, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide counseling and education to residents, families, and staff.
• Partner with nursing, therapy, and dietary staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Document assessments, progress, and updates in medical records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and SNF dietary regulations.
• Support food service operations to maintain safety, quality, and satisfaction.
