Job summary

Finger Lakes Community Health in New York is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our school-based dental team. The role visits area schools to provide care onsite and may also support Health Centers as needed.

You will perform preventative services including health education, screenings, prophylaxis, fluoride applications and sealants, while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to our diverse community.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted NYS Dental Hygienist License
• CPR certification required
• Experience is a plus but not required
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Ability to work flexible hours—some evenings required
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Does a beautiful smile light up your day? As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will play an essential role in giving our patients something to smile about! This position will work specifically with our school-based dental team, going onsite to area schools for treatment. This position may also be required to work in the Health Centers as needed.

On a daily basis, you will provide services for the patients in our community! In this position, you will provide preventative dental services including, health education, screenings, prophylaxis, fluoride, and sealants.

A Dental Hygienist is a vital part of Finger Lakes Community Health – one of the fastest-growing health centers in New York State. With eight health centers, serving over 28,000 patients, we provide primary care, dental and behavioral health services.
