Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

Requirements

License & Certification: Licensed dental hygienist, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

What We’re Looking For

Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
Registered Dental Hygienist license (Required)
CPR Certification (Required)
2+ years of RDH experience
GBT Certified or open to training
Familiarity with periodontal therapy and treatment planning

Preferences

Proficient in digital radiography and intraoral imaging
Detail-oriented, organized, and tech-savvy
Excellent communicator and team player
Laser Certification & Florida Probe experience (or willing to train)

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

Assess gum health, check for signs of periodontal disease, and provide early intervention when needed.
Take and review digital X-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Guide patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques for optimal at-home care.
Provide tailored recommendations for oral care products, such as electric toothbrushes, mouthwashes, and interdental cleaners.
Discuss the impact of nutrition and lifestyle habits (such as smoking, grinding, and sugar intake) on oral health.
Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff to create a seamless patient experience.
Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere, ensuring patients feel comfortable and valued.
Accurately document patient histories, exam findings, and treatment progress in digital records.
Work closely with the dentist to develop personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's needs.
Track and schedule follow-up visits to ensure patients receive continuous care.
