Job summary

Bluetree-Dental’s Fallon team is seeking a motivated Dental Hygienist (RDH) to deliver periodontal therapy, patient education, and preventative care in a family-focused practice.

The role offers a base rate of $50.00 per hour with a performance-based bonus structure and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for 30+ hours/week. No weekends, flexible schedule, and mentorship for new graduates are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license required or in transfer process.
• BLS/CPR certification required (we cover recertification fees).
• Laser Certification highly preferred; certification funded upon hire if needed.
• Experience with modern practice management software and radiography systems; Open Dental a plus.
• Deep understanding of periodontal therapy and SRP; preventive treatment planning.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset with strong patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive periodontal therapy including prophylaxis, diagnostic charting, periodontal tracking, and SRP.
• Educate patients across ages on oral hygiene and preventative care.
• Coordinate with general dentists, pediatric specialists, oral surgeons, and orthodontists on treatment plans.
• Maintain strict sterilization and infection control standards in a fast-paced practice.

• Pay: $50.00 per hour (Base Pay) PLUS Performance-Based Bonus Structure

What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Key Search Terms)

• Licensure: Active Nevada Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (or currently in the active process of transferring credentials).
• Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification (we fully cover your regular recertification fees!).
• Advanced Therapy: Laser Certification is highly preferred (if you don't hold it yet, we will completely fund and coordinate your certification upon hire!).
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with modern practice management software, digital charting, and radiography systems (experience with Open Dental is a major plus).
• Clinical Excellence: Deep understanding of periodontal therapy rules, root planning ( SRP ), dental sealant application, and customized preventive treatment mapping.
• Mindset: An exceptionally collaborative team-first attitude, sharp attention to detail, and a passion for patient education.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Comprehensive Periodontal Therapy: Deliver expert preventive cleanings, diagnostic charting, detailed periodontal tracking, soft-tissue management, and root planning ( SRP ).
• Patient-Centered Advocacy: Educate children, adolescents, adults, and seniors on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and customized diet/nutrition routines.
• Multi-Specialty Co-Diagnosis: Work hand-in-hand with our general dentists, pediatric specialists, oral surgeons, and orthodontists to coordinate comprehensive, conservative long-term treatment plans.
• Pristine Clinical Standards: Maintain an efficient, comforting room turnover flow while following absolute sterilization and infection control protocols.
