Link Dental Excellence is seeking a friendly, motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing practice on a part-time and temporary basis. The role focuses on comprehensive hygiene, preventive care, and advanced dental technology in a supportive environment.

We offer a flexible schedule with Wednesday and two Saturdays per month, plus potential additional days. Competitive hourly pay with patient incentives and a timekeeping portal to track hours and incentives are provided.

• Active California RDH license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and periodontal hygiene services.
• Capture diagnostic radiographs including FMX/panoramic and CBCT when indicated.
• Educate patients on periodontal health and at-home care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with dentist and team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with scheduling hygiene appointments and recall programs.

Our practice focuses on comprehensive dentistry, preventive care, Invisalign, and advanced dental technology.

Schedule & Flexibility

We are currently seeking an RDH available on Wednesdays and two Saturdays per month.

Can't commit to Wednesdays? We are also open to temporary hygienists who can provide Saturday coverage.

Compensation & Incentives

• Competitive hourly compensation based on experience.

• Additional $25 incentive for each patient-equivalent seen beyond the number of hours worked.

• One quadrant of scaling and root planing (SRP) counts as one patient-equivalent for incentive purposes.

• All hours worked must be accurately recorded through our timekeeping portal.

What You'll Be Doing

Patient Care & Clinical Hygiene

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including preventive and periodontal treatments.

• Perform necessary diagnostic radiographs, including FMX, panoramic X-rays, and CBCT imaging when indicated.

• Use iTero digital scanning technology to educate patients about their oral health.

• Educate patients on periodontal health, home care, and available treatment options.

• Identify potential restorative concerns and communicate findings to the dentist.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Patient Experience & Communication

• Welcome new patients and participate in personalized patient introductions and office tours.

• Build meaningful relationships through patient education and exceptional service.

• Assist patients with scheduling their next hygiene appointment.

• Communicate recommended treatment needs to the dentist and Treatment Coordinator.

• Support hygiene recall and patient retention efforts.

Teamwork & Practice Support

• Maintain clean, organized, and properly prepared treatment rooms.

• Monitor hygiene supplies and assist with inventory management.

• Collaborate with the restorative team when needed.

• Support Invisalign-related workflows and other clinical procedures within the RDH scope of practice.

Training is available for our office-specific systems, patient experience protocols, and clinical workflows.
