Qualifications

• Active dental hygienist license in NJ
• Minimum 2+ years of hygienist experience
• CPR/BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures (cleaning, scaling, fluoride)
• Take and review x-rays with patients
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide personalized advice
• Conduct patient assessments (vital signs, medical history)
• Assist dentist during procedures and maintain sterile field
• Update/maintain patient records with accurate coding
• Adhere to HIPAA and protect patient confidentiality
• Utilize Dentrix Ascend for recalls, charting, and treatment planning
• Take PANOs, CBCT, and ITERO scans when required

Looking for a part time RDH to work with a great team for a permanent job. Not a DSO

Easy and calm office. One hour appts. New computers, digital dentistry, and updated rooms.

Long term patients who want to see the same clinician.

Office within a larger medical building with a cafe, ramps and ample parking.

Pay

• $45 - $55 per hour

Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Commission-Based Incentives: Earn a percentage of the revenue generated from specific procedures, such as teeth cleanings, invisalign, etc.

Shift & Schedule

• Flexible schedule

Work Hours: Friday 8-6, lunch 1-2 and Saturday 8-2 (every other Sat)

Breaks: 60-minute meal break (not counted as work hours).

Requirements

• License & Certification: Basic life support, Driver’s license, Licensed dental hygienist, X-ray / Radiography Certification
• Software Experience: Dentrix, Dexis
• Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental hygienist with 2+ years of practice

• Take and review x-rays with patient
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
• Update and maintain accurate patient records, including medical coding and documentation
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
• Utilize dental software systems such as dentrix ascend to schedule patients recall appts, chart existing treatment and planned treatment, perio chart
• Take PANOs, CBCT, and ITERO scans when required.
