Perfect Smile Doc in Florida is seeking a compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team. You will provide dental hygiene services, perform patient assessments, and educate patients on oral health while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification as required.
• Strong clinical and patient-education skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental hygiene services within the scope permitted by Florida law.
• Perform patient assessments and dental hygiene procedures.
• Provide preventive oral-health education and home-care instructions.
• Take and document appropriate patient information.
• Obtain dental radiographs as permitted and required for patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow established infection-control and sterilization protocols.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Follow OSHA and workplace-safety requirements.
• Collaborate with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to provide coordinated patient care.
• Perform other dental hygiene duties permitted by Florida law and consistent with the hygienist's training and credentials

Education

Florida Dental Hygienist license

CPR/BLS certification

Graduate of accredited dental hygiene program

Strong clinical and patient-education skills
