Edenfield Dental Group is seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. You will perform dental cleanings, screen patients, and assist dentists with exams and procedures. State licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist and 1–2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Current Dental Hygienist licensure and state license.
• 1–2 years of dental hygiene experience.
• Familiar with HIPAA and safety guidelines.

Aufgaben

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Prep sterilized equipment and provide to the dentist for exams and procedures.
• Take vital signs and record medical histories.
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories.
• Evaluate for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection.
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride.
• Teach good oral hygiene techniques.
• Create dental impressions and take x-rays.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies.
