Cleburne Dental Care PLLC is seeking a qualified Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. You will screen patients, perform cleanings, and assist dentists during exams and procedures.

The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist and friendly, with a commitment to creating a great patient experience. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, discussing care plans, taking vital signs, taking x-rays, and educating patients on oral hygiene while adhering to health

Qualifications

• Hold an active Registered Dental Hygienist license and be state-licensed.
• Possess an Associate’s Degree (CACD accredited) or higher; bachelor’s/master’s preferred.
• HIPAA knowledge and dentistry safety guidelines are essential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and make them comfortable in the treatment area.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Prepare sterilized equipment for exams and procedures.
• Take vital signs and record medical histories.
• Perform preliminary exams and assess oral health histories.
• Evaluate for gum disease, cavities, and infection.
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments.
• Educate patients on good oral hygiene.
• Take x-rays as needed.
• Assist dentists during procedures and exams.
• Follow health and safety regulations and office policies.
