Job summary

AvaHR seeks a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Orlando dental offices. You will assist the dentist with clinical and X-ray tasks, educate patients, and help maintain a high standard of oral health.

The role requires an active Florida dental hygiene license, an associate degree, CPR certification, and strong communication skills. Expect Monday–Thursday 7:00am–3:30pm with benefits and a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate's degree in hygiene and a valid state hygiene license.
• CPR certification current and ability to administer local anesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Perform prophylactic, gingivitis and periodontal cleanings.
• Take diagnostic digital X-rays and intra-oral photographs.
• Educate patients on oral health and hygiene.
• Sterilize, sharpen and maintain dental instruments.
• Collaborate with dentists and dental hygienists.
• Maintain patient dental hygiene regimens.
