Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist in Lexington, KY. The role requires an active KY (or compact state) license, CPR/BLS certification, and successful drug screening plus background check.

You will perform prophylaxis, educate patients, and document radiographs and periodontal findings. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with clinical duties and related administrative tasks in a dental clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active, unrestricted Registered Dental Hygienist license in KY or a compact state.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and law enforcement background check.
• CPR/BLS certification must be current and maintained during employment.
• Must provide copies of license and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Review medical and dental history and identify information requiring dentist review.
• Provide dental prophylaxis for assigned patients.
• Offer individualized oral hygiene instruction and patient education.
• Assess and document oral hygiene and periodontal condition within scope of practice.
• Obtain diagnostic-quality dental radiographs and attach to patient records.
