Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive hygiene care including routine cleanings and periodontal maintenance.
• Perform periodontal assessments, charting, and screenings.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and treatment options.
• Build relationships with patients and promote long-term preventive care.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with patients and doctors.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Follow infection control protocols and OSHA/HIPAA requirements.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to deliver excellent patient experience.
• Manage a productive schedule while upholding care standards.

A well-established private dental practice in West Orange, NJ is seeking an experienced and personable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team.

We are looking for a hygienist who takes pride in providing excellent clinical care while also building genuine, long-term relationships with patients. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, a positive personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to make patients feel comfortable and well cared for.
