Job summary

DirectDental is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in California, based in San Marcos. You must hold a valid RDH license and CPR card; laser certification is preferred. You will educate patients on oral health, perform scaling and polishing, take impressions and radiographs, apply sealants and fluorides, and conduct screenings.

We offer Dental and 401k benefits, with compensation at $60-$70 per hour. Immediate consideration for this role.

Job description

To be considered for our Registered Dental Hygienist position, you must:

• Have a Registered Dental Hygienist’s license
• Have a valid CPR card
• Be Laser certified (Preferred)
• Be meticulous about oral health and the health of your patients.

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) duties include:

• Providing dental health education about tooth care and diet
• Removing plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth
• Taking impressions and/or dental radiographs of teeth
• Applying prophylactic/antibacterial materials, fissure sealants, and topical fluorides to help prevent tooth decay
• Carrying out screening and monitoring procedures
