Job summary

Newburyport Family Dental is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our private practice. If you're passionate about making smiles shine and want to be part of a dynamic team, this is the role for you.

You will be responsible for delivering excellent patient care, taking radiographs, maintaining patient records, and supporting front desk operations as needed within a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• State licensure and certification in dental hygiene.
• CRP Radiography/x-ray certification per state guidelines.
• Familiar with dental terminology and procedures.
• Positive, collaborative attitude with team and patients.
• Complies with state dental practice requirements (X-ray, OSHA, CE).
• Understands HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009.

Responsibilities

• Strive to provide the best patient experience
• Provide assistants with documentation and records upkeep
• Listen, empathize and address patient concerns
• Explain treatment plans and oral health maintenance
• Oversee operatory setup and cleaning/sterilization
• Take radiographs/x-rays
• Support Front Desk and Office Managers as needed
