Job summary

Les Belles NYC Dentistry on the Upper East Side in New York is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist. The role offers a competitive hourly wage and a fixed Tue/Thu schedule from 8:30am to 6:30pm, with a lunch break.

Hours are guaranteed regardless of patient flow, making it a stable, patient-centered opportunity in a high-end practice. You’ll join a team focused on wellness, education, and exceptional patient experiences, with access to modern technology and a strong emphasis on preventive care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted New York State Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Strong understanding of periodontal assessment, preventive care, dental radiography, and clinical hygiene procedures.
• Ability to deliver thorough clinical care while maintaining efficient appointment workflows.
• Excellent patient communication, education, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical documentation and organizational abilities.
• Commitment to infection prevention, patient confidentiality, and professional standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dentists and other clinical and administrative team members.
• Demonstrated reliability, initiative, accountability, and attention to detail.

Pay: $58 - $65 /hourly

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of clinical dental hygiene experience, preferably in a private dental practice.
• Experience providing comprehensive periodontal therapy and maintaining individualized periodontal maintenance programs.
• Experience in a patient-centered, boutique, cosmetic, or high-end dental practice.
• Familiarity with digital radiography, intraoral imaging, and modern dental technology.
• Experience using dental practice management software and electronic clinical records.
• Strong patient education skills and experience supporting treatment engagement and recall retention.
• Experience managing a productive hygiene schedule while maintaining high clinical and service standards.
• Local anesthesia certification, if applicable to the services performed and authorized under New York State requirements.
