ALKAR Human Resources is partnering with a Napa dental office to hire a Registered Dental Hygienist. The role offers a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, with potential for two part-time hygienists to accommodate needs.

Expect to perform preventive care, radiographs, patient education, and detailed documentation. Ideal candidates hold a California RDH license and exhibit strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and commitment to infection control.

Qualifications

• Current RDH license valid in California.
• Knowledge of preventive dentistry and hygiene procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and safety protocols.
• Experience with Eaglesoft is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive dental hygiene services (cleanings, scaling, polishing, fluoride).
• Evaluate oral health and review medical histories for concerns.
• Obtain radiographs as needed and follow imaging safety procedures.
• Explain oral health needs and home-care routines to patients.
• Document visits and findings in Eaglesoft.
• Apply sterilization methods and follow infection-control standards.
• Work with dentist and team to coordinate treatment.
• Incorporate EMS AIRFLOW, Guided Biofilm Therapy, and salivary testing as appropriate.
• Maintain complete, accurate patient records.
• Ensure patients feel informed, respected and comfortable.

Seeking coverage for a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. They are also open to considering two part-time hygienists to accommodate different scheduling needs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide preventive dental hygiene services, including routine cleanings, scaling, polishing, and fluoride applications.
• Evaluate patients' oral health and review medical histories to identify potential concerns.
• Obtain dental radiographs as needed and follow established imaging safety procedures.
• Help patients understand their oral health needs and recommend appropriate home-care routines.
• Document patient visits, clinical findings, and treatment information in Eaglesoft.
• Apply proper sterilization methods and follow workplace health, safety, and infection prevention standards.
• Work alongside the dentist and dental team to coordinate treatment and support positive patient outcomes.
• Incorporate EMS AIRFLOW technology, Guided Biofilm Therapy, and salivary testing into patient care as appropriate.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential patient records.
• Help patients feel informed, respected, and comfortable throughout their appointments.

What Our Client is Looking For:

• Current Registered Dental Hygienist license valid in the state of practice.
