Laramie Dental Arts, P.C. is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our patient-centered team in Laramie, WY. You will perform cleanings, assessments, X-rays, and preventive care with a focus on excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• Active Wyoming RDH license or ability to obtain one.
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dental team.
• Experience in periodontal therapy and preventive dental care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures for patients of all ages.
• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and cancer screenings.
• Take and review dental X-rays (radiographs) in accordance with practice protocols.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies.
• Document accurate patient records and update medical/dental histories in the practice management system.
• Collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized patient treatment plans.
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride, sealants, and desensitizing agents as indicated.
