You’ll perform thorough dental cleanings, take radiographs, review medical histories, educate patients on oral hygiene, and help with sealants and fluoride.

Qualifications

• A degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license.
• Active CPR Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing.
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and evaluating oral health conditions.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.
• Identify signs of oral diseases and communicate findings to the dentist for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and charting.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
• Support a positive patient experience by providing compassionate and professional care.
