Job summary

Creston Dental & Braces - a Benevis company seeks a Dental Hygienist to join our Honea Path, SC team. You will deliver direct dental care under the dentist's supervision and work with a patient base that includes a large pediatric population.

Compensation ranges from $45 to $55 per hour, with signing or relocation bonuses up to $10,000 for full-time and $5,000 for part-time. Benefits include 401(k), PTO, CE credits, flexible schedules and training reimbursements; CPR/BLS is required at hire.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing.
• CPR (BLS) certification from the ARC or AHA, including hands-on skill assessment (required upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct dental care and associated services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist.
• Provide quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Perform scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by offering Same Day Care opportunities.
• Educate patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction.
• Assess patient condition and needs, and review medical history.
• Adhere to all government regulations and company standards.
• Guide parents and patients through the entire treatment process.
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting when necessary.
• Take x-rays and save them into patient charts when necessary.
