Job summary

Nidhi Gupta DDS in Hayward, CA is seeking a passionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice. You'll perform cleanings, periodontal assessments, take and review X-rays, and educate patients on oral hygiene to prevent disease.

We value compassionate, patient-centered care and teamwork. California RDH license, CPR/BLS, and familiarity with dental software and digital X-ray systems are required; local anesthesia and nitrous oxide permits are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active California RDH license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with periodontal therapy and prophylaxis procedures; proficiency with dental software and digital X-ray systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures for patients.
• Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and document findings in patient records.
• Take and review dental X-rays and present findings to the dentist.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies.
• Screen patients for oral cancer, gum disease, and other dental health concerns.
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants as indicated.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless and positive patient experience.
