Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and specified training courses as mandated by state.
• Required certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by the state.
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for optimal treatment.
• Maintain a clean and cheerful environment for patients.
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories.
