Southland-Dental-Care is seeking a qualified Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures and handle scheduling and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as an RDA and has at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• State-licensed as an RDA.
• Associate degree in dental assisting required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental assistant.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have.
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.
