Job summary

Northeast Valley Health Corporation is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to provide high-quality patient care across office, laboratory, and clinical duties. The RDA assists the dentist, prepares patients, handles instruments, and participates in infection control and x-ray procedures under California state law.

Strong English and Spanish skills required. Must maintain CPR certification and be able to work effectively in a team, with flexibility for changing environments.

Qualifications

• Must hold a California- issued RDA license with the Dental Board of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
• Sealant certificate required (for new hires)

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during treatment procedures by preparing patients and handling instruments and materials.
• Perform office, laboratory and patient care duties as part of RDA responsibilities.
• Maintain infection control procedures and sterilize instruments and operatory rooms.
• Take and process radiographs as part of patient care.
• Educate patients and other duties as allowed under California state law for RDA licensing.
