Job summary

Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics in Austin, TX is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant. You will work under the Lead RDA and Doctor, performing chairside assistance, patient care, imaging, charting, and sterilization to support a 5-star patient experience.

This full-time position requires an active RDA license, at least 1 year of dental office experience, and the ability to work Saturdays. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred, and cross-training may include front office tasks to enhance

Qualifications

• Active RDA certification and license required.
• Minimum 1 year dental office experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist.
• Take dental x-rays and impressions as needed.
• Record and manage patient charts and records.
• Prepare instruments and sterilize equipment.
• Educate patients on dental care practices.
• Assist with front office tasks as needed.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Assist with temporary crowns and dental procedures.
• Support clinicians during treatments by handing instruments.
• Occasional travel to assist alternate locations or training.
