Job summary

Lollipop Dental - Tustin is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant to join our pediatric team. You will support clinicians during exams, take digital X-rays, prepare rooms, and educate kids and parents on oral hygiene while moving between our Costa Mesa, Cerritos, Garden Grove, Tustin and other offices.

Ideal candidates have a DA or RDA certification (or willingness to obtain), enjoy working with children, and can work some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant or RDA certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent customer service and ability to work with kids.
• Willingness to travel between multiple offices.

Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during exams and treatments.
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral scans.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Educate children and parents on oral hygiene in a fun way.
• Assist with orthodontic procedures as needed.

At Lollipop Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, we specialize in creating magical dental experiences for kids! With multiple offices across Costa Mesa, Cerritos, Garden Grove, Tustin, Long Beach, Lake Forest, and Placentia, we’re looking for a rockstar Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing, patient-focused team. Pay

• $41,000 - $55,400 per year
• Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
• Estimated Annual Salary may vary depends on experiences

Shift & Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Some Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Requirements

• Dental Assistant or RDA certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Superior customer service skills - must love working with kids!
• Ability to travel between offices (Costa Mesa, Cerritos, Garden Grove, etc.)
• Willingness to work some Saturdays
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Great multitasker with a positive attitude
• Must pass a background check

Preferences

• Experience in pediatric dentistry or orthodontics
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus!
• RDA license preferred but not required
• Fun, creative personality to engage young patients

Job Description

Clinical & Chairside Support:

• Assist pediatric dentists and orthodontists during exams and treatments
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral scans
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Educate young patients and parents on oral hygiene in a fun, engaging way
• Help with orthodontic procedures (braces adjustments, appliance placement, etc.)

Patient Interaction & Office Support:

• Greet children and parents with enthusiasm and warmth
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Maintain accurate records in our dental software
• Travel between offices as needed (reliable transportation required)
• Work some Saturdays (schedule flexibility is a must)
