Job summary

West Coast Dental is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant for a full-time position in Pico Rivera, CA. The role supports dentists in general and specialty procedures, prepares treatment rooms, takes X-rays, and maintains patient records.

Ideal candidates hold a California RDA license, CA X-ray certification, CPR/BLS, coronal polish/sealant certs, and are committed to infection control, patient education, and teamwork across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
• Current X-ray certification (CA).
• Coronal polish and sealant certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA standards.
• Assist dentists during general and specialty procedures (including ortho, oral surgery, etc.).
• Take, develop, and process dental X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Manage operatory flow and support efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with front and back-office teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Be a key part of creating a positive patient experience from start to finish.
• Take initiative to learn new skills and assist across multiple specialties.
• Participate in mentoring programs to grow your clinical expertise and advance your career.

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA standards
