Job summary

Karrie Chu DDS Dental Care in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). We welcome new dental assistants to join our all-digital, fee-for-service private practice known for exceptional patient care and teamwork.

You will welcome patients, prepare them for treatments, set up instruments, assist the dentist in a 4-handed workflow, take x-rays, sterilize instruments, and support across general dentistry including orthodontics and implants.

Qualifications

• RDA certification or eligibility

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients in the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Assist the dentist (4-handed dentistry)
• Assist in all areas of General Dentistry including Orthodontics, Implant Restoration, Sleep Dentistry, Minor Surgical procedures, and Temporary Crown Fabrication
• Take x-rays and intraoral photos when needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Walk out/ Check out patients when needed.

Job description: Duties for our Dental Assistant (DA or RDA) Include:

• Welcome patients in the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Assist the dentist (4-handed dentistry)
